Jack-up rigs

Jack-up rigs

Conducting works in a sea environment while achieving temporary freedom from its constraints is the purpose of VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial's three jack-up rigs. With its Ile d’Oléron, Argoat and Shirine craft, the company can carry out works requiring high precision in a marine environment, under working conditions that can prove trying at times (swell, wind, currents, etc.). With load-bearing capabilities of up to 600 t, VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial's jack-up rigs lend themselves to a multiplicity of uses: pile drilling and driving, installation of superstructures or specialised works.

The KOSTALDEA, the pride of the VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial fleet

Already equipped since the 1990s with the Ar-Mor dredging pontoon, VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial launched in 2013 its larger sister-vessel, the Kostaldéa, extending the company's operating capability to a depth of over 19 m. This dipper pontoon carrying a Liebherr P 984 shovel was designed and developed entirely in-house by the VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial equipment department's design office. This plant item has now become indispensable for port improvement and deepening works, and enables VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial to reach a dredging depth unrivalled in France and to increase considerably the productivity of its worksites by simplifying and optimising the equipment's movements.
