Project description

VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial is responsible for restoring the port infrastructure, protecting sensitive coastal areas and enhancing a picturesque district which is popular with tourists. The work will also be carried out in an environmentally friendly manner, specifically through reusing around 90% of the site’s materials.

This project aims to create a 40,000-m2 platform that will emerge from the sea to the east of the port. In particular, it will house the new fish market. Next to it, a third basin of 4.3 ha will be dug and will be able to accommodate up to 70 ships. In this space, two new 135 and 80-m pontoons will be built.
