Project Description

As part of the large TOARC North project for the A480 motorway, VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial is involved in the widening of the Saint-Égrève viaduct (38). 4 cofferdams in sheet piling and 16 piles of 1,200 mm in diameter and a minimum of 20 m long will constitute the foundations of the piles of the future structure.
The construction includes:
– Building 4 cofferdams at 3 levels of complexity (sheet piles under the lintel, under the deck or outside the bridge).
– Landscaping
– Pile driving + landscaping
– Pile breaking
-The Construction of footings and piers, followed by the widening of the bridge (VINCI Construction – Travaux Publics Lyon)
-The block purge (up to 12 tons) requiring 2 months work with a specific hydraulic excavator.
